Those of you who have been around the Elkhart area for several years all know Mario. For those newcomers who don't ... Mario is the type of fellow who works hard and believes in "treating all people good." Mario worked in the grocery and catering business all of his life in Elkhart. In 1963, he decided to venture out on his own by opening Mario's Riverview Grocery. His sister Anna worked for him making the pasta sauce and other Italian specialties for the grocery. After Anna passed away in 1967, Mario continued making batch after batch until he perfected the best tasting pasta sauce you can imagine. How many times have you ever heard of something that tastes great and is actually healthy for you?

Anna Mario's premium pasta sauce has contained the very same ingredients for over 40 years. It's thick cooked and ready to serve right out of the jar. Mario retired in 1987 but passed all of his knowledge, ethics and love of people to his daughter Lynda who now runs the business.
